The story of MetL™ began with two lifelong athletes, Patrick Lyons and William Tafuto, united by a shared passion for health, focus, and natural energy. Their mission: to create a cleaner, smarter way to fuel both body and mind without caffeine or artificial additives.
Patrick Lyons: Driven by Clarity and Challenge
A father, entrepreneur, and lifelong athlete from Lemoyne, PA, Patrick has summited peaks like Pikes Peak and Half Dome. His love for movement goes beyond fitness, it’s about the mental clarity that comes from pushing limits.
Seeing how caffeine dependency affected those around him, Patrick sought a natural way to sustain energy and focus, and that idea became the foundation for MetL™.
William Tafuto: A Lifelong Vision of Wellness
A seasoned athlete, elite cyclist and triathlete, Level 10 CrossFit competitor, Hyrox Season Champion, and father of four Division 1 swimmers, William has dedicated his life to performance and longevity. His family’s athletic legacy includes Olympic Trials, and top finishes at world fitness events, with his oldest daughter making the Hyrox Elite 15 in all of last 4 years.
Remarkably, he’s avoided caffeine his entire life, believing true energy should come from consistency and natural ingredients, not stimulants. This philosophy shaped his collaboration with Patrick to create MetL™.
